Soo the other day I'm on the bus coming home from school when I hear these annoying girls who get on the bus from this other school. So these two Year 10's are at the back, discussing the end of THE WORLD.
1st thought...MMMMM THEY'RE CHATTING BULL.
2nd thought... lemme listen hehe ;D
Here's roughly how their conversation went;
Girl 1 *with glasses,excitedly* : OMG BABE, 's meant to be the end of the World this Friday!
Girl 2 *obviously the follower in this conversation* Yeahhh.
Girl 1: So *Insert Random Girl's name here* tells me she wants to shag someone before the world ends, but like, she wants to shag someone fit innit?
Girl 2: Yeahh?
Girl 1: Yeah, and I totes agree cos I don't wanna die no VIRGIN!
SO THEIR STRUGGLE IS REAL GUYS.
The HOT MESS of a conversation they were having! And I'm sitting there innocently ;) thinking WHUUUUUUT.
Many people around the world are expecting the world to end on Friday 21st December 2012, due to the date concluding the end of the 5,125-year "Long Count" Mayan calendar.
Mayans don't even believe the world will end! Pedro Celestino Yac Noj, a Mayan sage, burned seeds and fruits to mark the end of the old calender at a ceremony in Cuba. He said: "The 21st is for giving thanks and gratitude and the 22nd welcomes the new cycle, a new dawn."
I really don't think its going to be the end of the World; just the beginning of a new, better time for all of us,for humanity. Love flowing in the air and making the leaves in the tree's hug the roots of the earth; People smiling generously at each other in the street; Animals jumping in between flowers... hopefully. That's what I, and I'm sure many of you would like to see too.
